Counselling

A clinical counsellor uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, and stress. They assess clients' concerns, develop treatment plans, and provide guidance to promote personal growth, resilience, and well-being.

I specialize in supporting a wide variety of women’s issues, as well as pregnancy and postpartum depression and anxiety. I am experienced in supporting folx through grief and loss experiences during the perinatal period, which can include miscarriage, terminations and medical terminations of pregnancy, stillbirth, and newborn loss. I also support healthcare professionals in building resilience after burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious/secondary trauma responses. I practice from a trauma-informed foundation, and I am trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (Certificates in Level 1 and for Traumatized Individuals). I look forward to connecting with you to see if we could be a good therapeutic fit!
